New Swift charger at Dickson Trail Crossing in Airdrie, AB.
AIRDRIE, AB – October 1, 2026 — Electric vehicle drivers in Airdrie have a new place to recharge. Swift Charge is pleased to announce a new DC fast charging station at Dickson Trail Crossing, expanding convenient charging access for residents, commuters and visitors travelling through one of Alberta’s fastest-growing communities.
Located at 3 Stonegate Drive NW, Dickson Trail Crossing sits near the major intersection of Main Street and Veterans Boulevard, with convenient access to nearby shopping, dining and services.
Fast Charging Where Drivers Already Stop
The new Swift Charge station delivers up to 100 kW of DC fast charging across two charging ports, with both CCS and NACS connectors to support a wide range of electric vehicles.
By bringing fast charging directly to an established retail destination, drivers can conveniently recharge while they shop, dine or take care of everyday errands. The project was completed with support from Alberta Municipalities through the Electric Vehicle Charging Program (EVCP), which is funded by Natural Resources Canada’s Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP).
Building a More Connected Charging Network
“Convenient charging infrastructure is about meeting drivers where they already are,” said Aaron Liang, Director of Operations at Swift Charge. “Dickson Trail Crossing is a strong location because it combines accessibility with the shops and services people use every day. With up to 100 kW of fast charging and both CCS and NACS connectors, this station gives more EV drivers a simple and reliable way to charge while they go about their day.”
The Dickson Trail Crossing installation reflects Swift Charge’s focus on placing reliable fast charging at practical, high-traffic destinations across Alberta.
